A disgraced scientist joins a secret government project. Classified as a synthesist, her only job is to come up with ideas for experiments. By pure chance, the research she stole from a PhD dropout is full of great ideas, or so it seems. She realizes her mistake too late. By then, the other scientists on her team have derived a mathematical proof with terrible implications.
